Soooo many excuses and apologies get made for this guy, even when he spews hatred for 2 years solid about LIV golf and his friends who joined that tour. Rory had the lead for 15 minutes during a 5 hour round where Bry58n was in control for the most part and started with a 3 shot lead. St Andrews was worse because Rory lead going into final round and Cam Smith ripped it away from him. Here Bry58n was dominant and almost let it slip but then re-gained it. Yes Rory missed 2 short putts but Bry58n missed a very short putt as well. Bry58n was the better man plain and simple.

Bryson is GREAT for the game of golf. So many of these players are just unbelievably boring robots with literally zero personality, charisma, charm, etc. and never interact with the fans at all (Matsuyama, Cantlay, Cam Young, etc.) so watching him is just a pleasure. These guys are golfers but at the same time athletes have to understand that they're entertainers also. Bryson gets it.
